Lucaprint wins the 2016 Packaging Oscar

The company from Vicenza was awarded for its innovative packaging made from bean waste, thanks to the collaboration with the Favini paper mill and the Pedon group. On 15 April 2016, the OSCAR IMBALLAGGIO 2016 award ceremony was held in Milan at the prestigious headquarters of Corriere della Sera, organised by the Istituto Italiano Imballaggi and CONAI with the aim of rewarding the best Italian packaging. We are proud to inform you that LUCAPRINT won first prize for BEST PACKAGING 2016 with the Crush fagiolo packaging in the ENVIRONMENT section.

Below are the reasons given by Mario Grosso, President of the OSCAR jury: ‘The case has a highly innovative content, thanks to the use of a new material made using inedible waste. It therefore favours the short supply chain. The project is forward-looking.’
