A historic and renowned company, illycaffè is a world leader in coffee production.

Requirement

For the new illycaffè product, it was necessary to design packaging capable of holding multiple capsules in an orderly way, while avoiding the use of the traditional thermoformed plastic tray.

Results

The X-caps packaging is available in two formats, holding 10 or 30 capsules, and has been designed to ensure maximum compatibility with automatic packaging lines. The inner tray guarantees optimal protection of the capsules and features an ergonomic design that facilitates both gripping and removal. The trays containing the capsules fit perfectly one on top of the other, ensuring stability and order during the packaging and transport phases.
